The Nannuoshan Tea Weekend
Weekend, 24-25th August, 2019
We are excited to announce the first Nannuoshan Tea Weekend, that will take place at the end of August in a rural farm, amid the Allgäu Alps!
Expect a weekend of full immersion with tea and nature, organized workshops and spontaneous tea sessions, local food (or maybe Chinese) and a friendly environment with like-minded tea lovers and fellow tea travellers.
During the weekend there will be plenty of free time for Gongfu Cha sessions, chats and hikes in the nature. But we have also organized a few activities for everyone's tea enrichment... details below.
For information contact email@example.com.
Reservation through the form at the bottom of the page.
THE TEA WORKSHOPS
The two organized workshops, about Oolong tea and Hei Cha, are conducted by Benjamin and Gabriele. They take place on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Benjamin is one of the most knowledgeable Oolong tea specialists in Europe. He lived for 15 years in China, deepening his knowledge of tea, Chinese culture and traditional martial arts. He learned the art of harvesting and processing Oolong tea by tea masters in Taiwan and Mainland China and has a huge collection of rare Oolong teas, that he will share during the seminar.
Gabriele is the founder of Nannuoshan, Pu’er and Hei Cha ranking among his favorite teas. He has been travelling to Yunnan since 2010, witnessed the production of Lu’an Cha in Anhui and spent several days in Fangcun, the largest Hei Cha tea market in the world. Expect to taste nearly any kind of Hei Cha and get insights into their origin, history and production.
The first Nannuoshan Tea Weekend will take place on August 24-25, 2019.
Accommodation is available from Friday to Monday, so you are free to arrive on Friday night and leave on Monday morning, or just show up on Saturday morning and leave on Sunday afternoon.
The Tea Weekend is held in a rural farm located in a traditional Allgäu village, surrounded by meadows and hills; hiking tracks in any directions, for walks in-between teas sessions.
The closest train station is in Röthenbach, two hours by train from Munich and just few minutes drive from the farm; pick-up service to/from the station is provided by Nannuoshan.
