If you truly crave the eponymous scent of this cultivar, then this is the Xingren Xiang for you. It shares the fruitiness and florality of its Dancong brethren, but translates the distinctive note of almond from its familiar nuttiness to a green florality, interplaying with soft apricot and the slightest touch of saline wakame. It's an irresistible taste for any attracted to marzipan, amaretto, or qurabiya, and a variation from the more strictly fruity Dancongs, while retaining the same richness of aroma. While not all teas correspond so closely to their names, one which hits the mark can leave as much satisfaction as the more indefinable of flavors.
