Bai Hao Yin Zhen 2022
The velvety, silver buds lined with dark and light green invite appreciation, but demand steeping. This young white tea manages to be quite soft, exuding a round and nectarine mouthfeel, while simultaneously stimulating with an even astringency. A lingering taste of wheatgrass shows its youth, yet it is already extremely drinkable, with a delicious aroma of apple blossom and a tingle of salt and spice on the tongue. Those addicted to the crispest white wines will recognize a kindred here. Simply exquisite.
