Lu Shan Yun Wu Superior
We moved fast to bring you the very first teas of the season—air-flown immediately after harvest—to deliver the vitality of early spring straight into your cup, as if you were standing among the misty tea gardens.
Authentic Lu Shan Yun Wu is perhaps the most elusive green tea I’ve ever sourced. I still remember my first trip to Jiujiang, venturing up nearby Mount Lu, full of hope—only to leave empty-handed. Luckily, I didn’t give up after the first attempt.
Those memories—and even more, the tea’s fresh, alpine character—are what make Lu Shan Yun Wu one of my personal favorites.
The dry leaves release a potent forest aroma, like wandering through a Canadian conifer grove wrapped in mist. The taste echoes the scent: tamarack needles and pine cones, cool and resinous, fill the mouth and nose. A green-sweet richness and crisp texture follow, reminiscent of mist-covered moss and fennel.

For best results in gongfu cha, brew in a tall glass and fill with water before adding the leaves. Too high water temperature would burn the leaves, resulting in bitter taste.
